Start Raking
Always switch off the tractor engine before you leave the tractor cab.
Make sure no persons are within a 25 meter radius of the Hibiscus during
operation.
Make sure no persons are near the Hibiscus when you engage the PTO.
Do not operate the Hibiscus without safety guards or swath curtain, or if
the safety guards or swath curtain are damaged.
Make sure no obstacles can be hit.
1.
Operate the hydraulic system to lift the Hibiscus until the rakes are just
above the crop.
2.
Carefully engage the PTO at the lowest possible engine speed.
3.
Slowly increase the speed of the PTO to 400-450 rpm (max. 540 rpm).
Do not drive the machine through the crop when the rotor is on the
ground and not rotating. This causes damage to the tines and tine arms.
4.
Drive the tractor at a maximum speed of 12.5 km/h.
5.
Operate the tractor 3-point hitch to lower the Hibiscus to the correct
height in the crop.
6.
If you want to turn on headlands:
• Operate the tractor 3-point hitch to lift the Hibiscus.
7.
If smaller swaths are required:
• Do not use the full working width of the Hibiscus.
8.
If fuller swaths are required:
• Make double or multiple swaths.
