FAQ
In general, in case of technical troubles check the electrical signal connections and the power
supply (LED at converter glows) first. If this turns out to be not helpful, we arranged the
following questions and answers for you to find the cause and solve the problem.
Problem Description

The converter does not
display a picture or audio

Is the power supply working (LED lights) properly?
•
Is the TV set on the right input interface?
•
Is the output device set on the right output (esp. DVD
player)?*
•
Does the source device use the TV standard PAL?*
•
Is a YPbPr signal present (LED glows)?
•
Is the audio signal of a analogue output (digital signals
cannot be converted)?
•
Is the HDMI cable too long?
The picture has inverted
colours
•
Pb and Pr cables are inverted.
The picture is too dark
•
The source transmits a relatively dark signal; for a better
display of details set up the brightness of the TV.*
The picture is distorted or
displayed black and white
or with wrong colours
•
Does the source device use the proper TV standard
PAL?*
The pictures stalls and /or
there are picture errors.
•
Is the HDMI cable too long or not sufficiently shielded?
•
Is a HDMI standard used that is not supported by the
converter?
The audio L/R is inverted
•
Change the cinch plug connectors for L/R.
*Please follow the corresponding instructions in the manual of the producer.
