Precautions for Safe Use

Do not let any foreign matter enter the product through vent holes
or DVD/CD slot. Failure to observe this may result in fire or electric
shock.
z
Do not place any items on the product. Doing so may result in break-
down.
z
If abnormalities, such as smoke, excessively hot external surface and
odd smells, are found, immediately stop operation, turn OFF the
power and disconnect the power plug from the AC power outlet.
Repair of the product by the user is very dangerous, so contact Leica

If the product is dropped or damaged, turn OFF the power and discon-
nect the power plug from the AC power outlet, and then contact Leica
Microsystems. Continuing to use the product in such condition may
result in fire or electric shock.

When observing the monitor continuously for long periods of time,
make sure that you take sufficient breaks.
z
The fiber cable must be connected before turning ON the power.
Never remove the fiber cable while the power is ON.
z
If the LCD panel is damaged, do not touch it with hands. Doing so may
result in injuries.
z
When disposing of this product, handle it as industrial waste.
z
The product must be stored on a stable, horizontal surface.
z
When carrying the product, make sure that all the cables are remo-
ved.
z
When carrying the product, do so with two or more people.
z
When installing the product, hold it firmly and install it on a stable,
horizontal surface.
z
Do not use the product in upright position. When storing the product,
also do not store it in upright position.
z
If the LCD should be defective, please contact your Leica Microsystems
representative promptly.
