Troubleshooting
During Print

Not possible to print.
• The USB cable is not connected to the printer or to the Leica DVM5000.
Make sure that the USB cable is connected to both the printer and Leica
DVM5000.
• The power to the printer is not ON.
Turn ON the printer, check that the printer has started, and then try to print.
• An error is occurring with the printer.
If an error occurs, refer to the printer’s manual to clear the error,
and then try to print.
• The printer is not PictBridge-compatible.
Refer to the instruction manual of the printer to check whether it is
PictBridge-compatible.
• Printer connection is not recognized.
Remove the USB cable first, re-connect it, and then try to print.
• There is a problem with the printer.
Turn ON the power to the printer to restart it.
Refer to the printer’s instruction manual to clear the problem.

Poor print quality
• Paper type setting is inappropriate. Check whether paper type is correct.
• Print quality setting is inappropriate.
• An attempt was made to print a compressed file.
Printing a compressed file may cause print quality to drop.
Save the file in TIFF format (uncompressed), and then print it.

Image is excessively offcentered when printed.
• Paper size is inappropriate.
The problem may be solved by selecting an alternative paper size instead
of the standard size.
