Leica DVM5000 Introduction
Alert statements in this Manual
The following alert statements apply to the products in this manual. Each
alert statement also appears at the locations needed in this manual to
attract your attention.
WARNING
Possibility of serious injury
Do not disassemble, pressurize, deform, heat over 212 °F (100 °C), or
dispose in fire. Built-in lithium battery, fire, explosion, burn hazards.
When replacing lamp, do not touch immediately after turning off
power. Hot surface may cause heat injury. After power is turned off, wait
at least 40 minutes to change lamp.
Do not open the cover other than the lamp holder cover. High volt-
age part inside may cause electric shock hazard.
Possibility of electric shock
The equipment must be properly grounded. Be sure to ground the equip-
ment before connecting the power plug into an outlet. When disconnect-
ing the ground wire, be sure to do so after removing the power plug from
the outlet.
Do not replace the lamp before turning off power and pulling out
the power supply plug from an outlet. Unless otherwise, it may cause elec-
tric shock.
CAUTION
Do not look into cap and a fiber tip part during power-on. It is very
strong light and may cause permanent eye damage.
Do not use the enclosed power supply cable if it differs from
the local electrical power standards. An enclosed power supply cable is
125VAC dielectric strength. The power supply cable may not be suitable
for your local electrical power standards.
For safe and proper operation, only use a power supply cable that matches
the standards of your local electrical power system.
