6.6

Illumination

Caution!

Be sure that the lamp housing is disconnect-
ed from the power supply. Unplug the power
plug and the power supply during assembly.

Caution!

Light sources pose a potential irradiation risk
(glare, UV radiation, IR radiation). Therefore,
lamps have to be operated in closed hous-
ings and only after being mounted.

6.6.1 LED Lamp Housing LH113

Note:

The Leica DM2700 M microscope is designed for
the LED lamp housing LH113 (order no. 11 504 199)
(Fig 10) .Connection of lamp housings, other than
LED type, are not supported by microscope out-
lets.

Note:

A separate lamp power supply is neccessary to
connect other lamp housings.

• Place the lamp housing in the transmitted light

lamp housing receptacle (11.2) or incident light
lamp housing receptacle (11.1) and fasten it
with the clamping screw on the side.

• Connect the lamp housing to the power sup-

ply for incident light (11.3) or transmitted light
(11.4).
