5. Troubleshooting
PROBLEM SOLUTION
Every 12 seconds the UPS emits a short
audible signal, while the status indicator
always stays on yellow.
Check for the presence of input voltage. A specialist technician
must check that the cables are correctly connected to the input
connector, and the condition of the fuses at the side of the input/
output connector.
The UPS emits a fast intermittent audible
signal and the status indicator becomes red
and flashes quickly.
Output overload.
Reduce the number of connected loads.
The UPS emits a constant audible signal and
the status indicator
is on yellow.
After a few seconds the UPS turns off.
Batteries exhausted. The UPS can only be switched on if input
power supply is detected.
The status indicator flashes quickly green.
The input power network can be used by the UPS, but is outside
the permitted voltage and/or frequency limits. The bypass function
is not available.
The UPS emits a fast intermittent audible
signal and the status indicator becomes red
and flashes quickly.
Switch the UPS off, wait a few minutes and then switch it back on.
Check that the fan is working correctly and that the corresponding
air flow is not obstructed.
If after switching the UPS back on the problem continues, contact
the LEGRAND Technical Support Service.
