Choose an input coupling mode. Turn on the desired channel by 
pressing the appropriate channel button - CH1 or CH2 (or CH3 or 4 
on 4 channel models).  

 

2.

 

Now, press the 

Coupling

 option button on page 1/2 of the channel 

menu, and then select a coupling mode from the menu. 

Limiting Bandwidth 

You can limit the bandwidth to reduce display noise. When you turn 
Bandwidth Limit ON, the Bandwidth Limit value is set to 20 MHz. It also 
filters the signal to reduce noise and other unwanted high frequency 
components. 

Note

: The oscilloscope vertical response rolls off slowly above its 

bandwidth; or, above 20 MHz when the Bandwidth Limit is set to ON. 
Therefore, the FFT spectrum can show valid frequency information 
higher than the oscilloscope bandwidth. However, the magnitude 
information near or above the bandwidth will not be accurate.
