We recommend that the leg abduction
pommel be used when using the positioning
strap. Attach the leg abduction pommel onto
the receiving loop of the leg support cushion
and press down firmly to secure.
With the hooky panel firmly secured to the
underside of the leg support moulding, wrap
the two straps over the child’s legs with the
abduction pommel secured. Insert the two
straps through the plastic slide and tension
the straps as desired.
By removing the leg support and placing the
flexion roll under the knees, a more flexed
sitting position can be provided for the child.
The raised seat base helps to prevent the legs
from falling into abduction, and the pelvis into
posterior tilt, providing a more symmetrical
and functional position.
The flexion roll is attached by Velcro and can
be positioned on the seat base cushion so
that it rests comfortably behind the child’s
flexed knees.
