ACPI function [Enabled]
Enable this function if you use ACPI compliant OS, such as Windows 98 or Windows 2000.
ACPI Suspend Type [S1(POS)]
The choice: S1, S3.
Video Off Option [Susp, Stby -> Off]
Select the power-saving modes during the monitor goes blank:

Always On:
Monitor remains on during power-saving modes.
!
Suspend – Off:
Monitor blanked when system enters Suspend mode.
!
Susp, Stby – Off:
Monitor blanked when system enters either Suspend or Standby mode.
!
All Modes – Off:
Monitor blanked when system enters any power saving mode.
Video Off Method [V/H SYNC+Blank]
This determines the manner in which the monitor is blanked:

V/H SYNC+Blank:
This selection will cause the system to turn off the vertical and
horizontal synchronization ports and write blanks to the video buffer.
!
Blank Screen:
This option only writes blanks to the video buffer.
!
DPMS Supported:
Select this option if your monitor supports the Display Power
Management Signaling (DPMS) standard of the Video Electronics Standards.
Switch Function [Break/Wake]
Press the power button will cause the system to wake up from suspend or standby mode.
MODEM Use IRQ [3]
Name the interrupt request (IRQ) line assigned to the modem (if any) on your system.
Activity of the selected IRQ always awakens the system.
Hot Key Function As [Disable]
Set this option to Enable if your system has a hot key for soft power on.
HDD Off After [Disable]
After the selected period of drive inactivity, the hard disk drive powers down while all other
devices remain active.
By default, this item is Disabled, meaning that no matter what the
mode the rest of the system is the hard drive will remain ready. You also have a range of
choices from 1 to 15 minutes. This means that you can have your hard disk drive to be
turned off after a selected number of minutes.
Power Button Override [Instant Off]
When you select “Instant off”, pressing the power button will turn off the power. When select
“Delay 4 Sec.”, pressing the power button for less than 4 seconds forces the system to enter
the SUSPEND mode, pressing the power button for more than 4 seconds forces the system
to enter the Soft-Off state.
IRQ [3-7, 9-15], NMI [Enabled]
Choose the "Enabled" to wake up your system from suspend or standby mode when activity
is detected on a device using any of these IRQ addresses.
IRQ 8 Break Suspend [Disabled]
Choose the "Enabled" to wake up your system from suspend mode when activity is detected
on a device using IRQ 8.
Ring Power Up Control [Enabled]
An input signal on serial Ring Indicator (RI) (in other words, an incoming call on the modem)
will power up the system.
MACPME Power Up Control [Enabled]
When this item is enabled, it allows you to power up your system with the remote control.
PCIPME Power Up Control [Disabled]
When this item is enables, it allows you to power up your system with the remote control by
using the PCI device.
