GENERAL TROUBLESHOOTING
Cylinder is worn internally. Replace the cylinder.
Piston and piston ring are
worn out.
Replace.
The engine does not start
and spark plug does not

The spark plug electrode is
moist.
Dry the spark plug.
Spark plug has carbon
deposit.
Remove the carbon deposit.
Spark plug insulation is
broken.
Replace the spark plug.
Spark plug gap is too big/
small.
Adjust to 0.026”±0.002” (0.65±0.05 mm).
The spark plug electrode is
burnt.
Replace the spark plug.
High voltage line of the
ignition coil is broken.
Replace the high voltage line.
Stator of the ignition coil is
broken or burnt.
Replace the stator.
Poor contact between the
high voltage line and the
jump ring.
Amend.
Spark plug cap is broken Replace.
The motor runs, the engine
runs, but the spark does

Short circuit occurs in the
grounding line and stop line.
Clear the short circuit.
Short circuit occurs in the
stop switch.
Replace.
The engine does not start,

Fuel is not clean, with water. Replace the fuel.
Cylinder and piston ring are
worn.
Replace.
The spark plug is loose. Tighten the spark plug.
Crankcase has air leakage. Replace the gland.
Cylinder has air leakage. Replace the gland.
No fuel. Add fuel.
Check valve of the fuel tank
is blocked.
Remove the blockage.
There is no fuel in primer
bulb. Press the primer bulb 10 times and ensure
the fuel is enough for the primer bulb.
