from metal objects like paper clips, coins, keys, 

nails etc. Any metal object can make a connection 

from one terminal to the other. Shorting the battery 

terminals together may cause burns or a fire. 

39. Under abusive conditions, liquid maybe ejected 

from the battery:

If contact accidentally occurs, flush with water. 

• 

If liquid contacts eyes, seek urgent medical 

advise as this can cause irritation or burns. 

40. We advise for people over the age of 14 years 

and above. Children should not play with the product. 

SAFETY ADVICE FOR 

RECHARGEABLE BATTERY & CHARGER

Use only the battery that is provided with the   

lawnmower and or purchase one that is the same 

range.

Protect battery and battery charger from humidity. 

Do not operate battery charger outdoors. 

Disconnect battery before cleaning or servicing the 

unit. 

Avoid dropping the battery onto hard surfaces and do 

not subject the battery to any pressure or any other 

forms of mechanical stress. 

Keep battery away from extreme hot or cold. 

Do not attempt to repair the battery or battery 

charger yourself. If any parts are damaged and 

require repairs, please have it repaired by a qualified 

technician or take it to your nearest LawnMaster 

Service Dealer. 

Only charge the battery at an ambient (surrounding 

air) temperature between 0

A charged battery can be used to power the machine 

under ambient temperature conditions between 20

C. The battery pack can also be used in 

temperatures down to -10°C. Put the battery pack 

on a tool and use the tool in a light duty application. 

After about a minute, the pack will have warmed up 

and begin operating normally.

When not in use, store the battery in a dry place

The battery should be recharged when it fails to 

produce sufficient power on jobs which were easily 

done previously. DO NOT CONTINUE using product 

with its battery in a depleted condition. 

The battery is not fully charged at our factory. Before 

first use it must be fully charged.

WARNING 

- Never short-circuit the battery or expose 

it to moisture. Do not store it together with any metal 

parts which could short-circuit the contacts. The 

battery could overheat, start burning or explode.

If any person comes into contact with acid or 

similar internal fluids or substances contained 

in the battery, wash off these substances 

immediately with plenty of water. If these          

substances make contact with the eyes, 

rinse with plenty of water and visit a doctor 

immediately.

WARNING

 - Do not open the battery pack to get the 

battery out by yourself

Do not place the rechargeable battery into 

fire or water. It can explode. The rechargeable 

battery should not be discarded to domestic 

refuse, regardless of whether used or unused. 

You should return it to a local battery collection 

point in accordance with battery regulations

CHILD SAFETY 

Tragic accidents can occur if the operator is not 

aware of the presence of children. Keep children 

away from the mowing area and under the watchful 

care of a responsible adult. Do not allow children 

under the age of 14 to operate this mower. All other 

users must be read and understand all operating 

instructions prior to using the mower.
