Cleaning the air outlet area
1. Remove the collection bag.
2. Clean the external air outlet area on the device.
3. Set the operating mode selector switch to the suction symbol.
4. Remove dirt residues in the inner air outlet area with a bottle brush or similar.
5. Remove unwieldy objects with a blunt tool without sharp edges.
Cleaning the blower / suction tube
1. Remove the collection bag loop from the hook.
2. Remove the fastening screws and pull off the blower / suction tube.
3. Let out the residual material from the inside of the tube and clean it, as required.
4. Fix again the tube and the collection bag loop to the hook.
Replacing the collection bag
Replace a defective collection bag.
Use only original collection bags , otherwise the guarantee claim is invalid.
General Maintenance:
1. Remove the blower tube.
2. Drain and clean the fuel tank.
3. Run the machine until the carburettor is dry; this will prevent the carburetor diaphragms sticking
together.
4. Thoroughly clean the exterior of the machine with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
5. Store the machine in a dry, secure environment out of reach of children.
6. Take off the collection bag after finishing work, turn it inside out and brush it thoroughly. In this
way, you avoid the generation of mold and unpleasant odours.
7. Clean the device casing, the tube and the ventilation slots regularly with a soft brush or a cloth.
Never clean the device under running water.
