13. Install the two screws into the exhaust baffle.
14. Return the snowthrower to the operating position.
15. Tuck the lower lip of the guard behind the belt cover
(Figure 37).

16. Secure the exhaust baffle using the small side screw
that you previously removed (Figure 38).

17. Install and tighten the remaining shroud fasteners.
Replacing the Drive Belt
If drive belt becomes worn, oil-soaked, excessively
cracked, frayed, or otherwise damaged, replace the belt.
1. Remove the drive belt cover by removing the 3 bolts
as shown in Figure Figure 39.

2. Unhook the brake spring from the idler arm to
release the belt tension (Figure 39).
3. Remove the screw and curved washer that holds the
rotor pulley (Figure 39).
4. Remove the rotor pulley and the drive belt
(Figure 39).
5. Install the new drive belt, routing it as shown in
(Figure 40).
