ARRANGEMENT OF LIME FILTER
Using a water filter (optional accessory) improves the quality of the water and lengthens
the life of the machine.
Use the AquaAroma Crema BRITA
®
filter for Lavazza. To insert the filter follow the
instruction sheet enclosed with the accessory.
The BRITA
®
filter can be installed on the machine only if it has the special optional adap-
tor (RETROFIT KIT).
For correct installation follow the instructions supplied with the adaptor.
USE OF THE MACHINE
The front panel has six selection buttons highlighted by lights that are always on, a
STOP button and two lights for voltage and water reserve.
The first time the machine is installed or after it has not been used for a long time:
-
bring the machine to operating temperature
- turn the steam spout outwards
-
place a receptacle on the cup compartment
- press the “unrestricted quantity” button causing the machine to operate with the empty
pod supplied by Lavazza
Repeat this operation using up all the water in the tank.
This activates the resins for reducing the limestone in the water.
If the water collected is not clear but a yellowish colour, fill the tank and repeat the
operation.
