Connecting a 2.5” (Notebook) Hard Drive 

It is recommended that 2.5” drives are connected to the STB-5000 using a powered USB hub. 
Only single partition drive should be used. 
 
Due to the power requirements of some USB drives, the USB port on this device may not be 
able to power the drive. 
 
Please ensure that the drive is formatted in FAT32 or NTFS before recording.
