OPERATION
1.
Use the handle on the back of the light to tilt up/down and pan left/right.
2.
Adjust the tightness of pivot/pan movement using the tightening bolts on the
side of the base hinge.
3.
Connect the Deutsch connector from power cord to light.
4.
Connect power source and flip the switch on back of light to turn on.
NOTE:
Check for proper voltage before first use!
5.
Power transformers (DCP-11-DP) can be purchased through our website to run
this spotlight from household wall
outlets.
The sealed beam in this unit pulls 13 amps continuously, so 15 amp fuse is required. A 15 amp fuse is typical
on most cigarette lighter sockets, however, it is not recommended that you attempt to run 2 of these lights on a
socket splitter without increasing the fuse capacity.
This spotlight produces 1050 LUX at 25 feet, and projects a beam
700 feet. At its widest point, the beam is nearly 70 feet wide. The light is designed to project light at distance and the
beam pattern resembles a long cigar with its thickest point past the midway point.
MOUNTING
The light features a permanent mount base, measuring 4 inches square that is secured with 4 corner bolts. Mount
light securely; making sure bracket is square with surface.
ADJUST LIGHT
Light beam can be adjusted vertically/horizontally by the handle. The spotlight, will hold its position once the beam is
placed. Adjust the tightening bolt to increase or lessen the "position holding" tension based on the amount of vibration in
the environment. Should light adjustment become loose, tighten bolts on the base.
To change the lamp
, remove the scre
ws
on the
lens cover
. Take the face ring off of the lamp
and pull the bulb out of the socket freeing it form the spring fasteners. Place the new bulb in its
socket and replace face ring.
