Make sure the upper left switch is in the “
Fold up
” position.

Make sure the lower left switch is in the “
Lower Winch
”
position.
•
Locate the upper right switch labeled “Run” and “Lower Winch
Control”.
•
This is a momentary switch that only toggles up. This switch is
designed to stop the winch, when you let off of the switch.
•
Toggling the momentary switch up, and holding it, the mast will
begin to rise from the folded over position.
•
Once the mast reaches its vertical position, a sensor will make it
stop, and then briefly back off. This is by design, do not be
alarmed.
•
Re-insert the mast retaining pin. Once you have reached that
point, you are ready to extend the mast.
Important!
The winch is designed for intermittent use only.
Continuous running in excess of 3 minutes can damage the winch
motor. Allow a 20 minute cooling off period before continuing use.
Continuous use without a cooling off period will cause overheating
and damage the motor.
