INSTALLATION
We strongly recommend that only a licensed electrician install this product.
WARNING:
THIS FIXTURE IS HEAVY AND MUST BE MOUNTED TO A SURFACE THAT CAN STRUCTURALLY
SUPPORT THE LOAD. SECURE THE UNIT FIRMLY TO THE SURFACE.
It is strongly suggested to use two people to proceed with the final
mounting of the fixture to avoid any possible personnel injury or damage to
the fixture.
A custom designed clamping bracket allows for easy attachment of the
unit to the top rack of explosion proof forklifts. The component’s ability to
resist bending ensures stable performance in rough environments. After
securing the preferred position on the rack, the operator can then tighten
the beam using the two adjustable bolts. It is important to tighten both
evenly and securely to prevent shaking or uneven positioning.
Mount the remote switch with the mounting ears on the back. Secure cord
from light to remote to prevent snags and in an area where it will not come
into contact with moving parts.
PUSH BUTTON OPERATION
The mechanical action of this device is maintained
push/pull operation. Push button IN to activate the
feature you wish to operate. To turn off, pull button OUT. There are two buttons located on the switch
in order to individually control the function of the Horn and Light. The Horn and Light may be operated
individually or simultaneously up to the users discretion.

CHECK THE FIXTURE LABEL TO ENSURE CORRECT INPUT VOLTAGE AND FREQUENCY!
This forklift warning system is equipped with 1 foot of 16/3 chemical and abrasion resistant SOOW cord that is fitted with
an explosion proof cord cap for easy connection to explosion proof outlets during charging. Plug options include a 5-15 15
amp straight blade plug for use with 120V explosion proof outlets, a 5-20 20 amp straight blade plug for use with 120V
explosion proof outlets, or a 6-20 20 amp straight blade plug for use with 220-240V explosion proof outlets. Check product
nameplate for unit received.
BATTERIES
Plug charging cord into the appropriate power source outputting the correct voltage. The charger includes overcharge
protection allowing this unit to be left charging overnight. The unit will automatically shut off when low voltage occurs,
prolonging battery life. De-energize and remove fixture from hazardous area before maintaining batteries.

MAINTENANCE
After installation, this junction box should be inspected at regular intervals. A visual inspection should ascertain that all
cover bolts are installed and still tight; that all conduit connections are intact and free of corrosion, and that the enclosure
mounting bolts are tight and in good condition.
