Using the instruction sheet:
Keep the instruction sheet constantly with the
EPIC

CIRCON
Crimp tool. Each person entrusted
with the job of operating the
EPIC
®
CIRCON
Crimp tool must be familiar with the operating manual
and strictly observe the instructions therein. The U.I. LAPP GmbH declines to accept any liability for
damages that are incurred due to the fact that the instructions on the tool or in the operating
manual have been disregarded. Observe existing national rules for accident prevention.
Basic safety instructions:
The
EPIC
®
CIRCON
Crimp tool has been constructed according to state-of-the-art technology and
the acknowledged technical safety regulations and is only to be used for the purpose which is
mentioned in this instruction sheet.
Note:
Crimp tools are intended for occasional use and comparative little quantity. Different
emergences of overstress can be the consequence of an enduring use of the tool.
Responsibilities:
The
EPIC
®
CIRCON
Crimp tool may only be operated by trained and authorized personnel. The user
must clearly define and observe the responsibilities of the personnel for operating, maintenance
and service. Should the user make any changes to the hand tool without consulting the
manufacturer or the supplier, the latter will not be liable for any damage that may result.
Setting up and operating the EPIC
®
CIRCON Crimp tool:
The
EPIC
®
CIRCON
Crimp tool may only be set up and operated in perfect technical condition,
observing all the safety regulation and considering any possible danger. The manufacturer and the
suppliers will not be liable for any damages which may result due to the hand tool being used for
other purposes than that for which it was intended.
This instruction manual describes the use and handling of the

as well as required maintenance work. The factory settings of the
EPIC

CIRCON
Crimp tool may
