Control of the crimp mass:
The
EPIC

CIRCON
Crimp tool is preset, though a control of the crimp mass should be carried out
from time to time. This is to be done with the enclosed plug gauge as follows:
The
EPIC

CIRCON
Crimp tool is fully opened. Spin the hand wheel until the scale shows

and the
hand wheel shows
0
. Then close the EPIC
®
CIRCON Crimp tool down to the end stop. In this set up
the plug gauge Ø2 must be moveable with no scope between the crimp mandrels.
If this is not the case, the dimension deviation (+/-) can be detected with the precise adjusting of
the hand wheel. Is the
