The system comes with a controller to ensure that the device is well-shielded against premature failure at the
boot or shutdown phase. When installing:
1.
Make sure both your vehicle and the system are turned off.
2.
Follow the wiring definition and illustration below to connect the vehicle battery and ignition (ACC) to the
in-vehicle system through the 5-pin M12 male connector marked as
“
DC Input
”
on the system, through the
right pin contact.
In a typical in-vehicle computing solution, this system usually acts as a PSE (Power Sourcing Equipment) to
power up connected PoE devices, for which you should ensure a minimum of 48V DC power supply to the
system with the use of a
DC to DC Adapter
.
