Removing Copy Paper Misfeeds

When a misfeed occurs:

• The copier stops.

• A Misfeed Indicator in the area of the misfeed turns ON.

• The Touch Screen indicates a paper misfeed and a misfeed symbol flashes the location of

the paper misfeed.

The paper misfeed symbol flashes in different
locations as shown in the diagram, depending on
where paper has misfed.

Note: When a paper misfeed occurs, press the
HELP key to display a graphic showing how to
access the area of the paper misfeed.

Remove the misfed paper as described on the
following pages.
