outlet located on the LCS/2 Computer wiring,
4) Use the Programming Tester V05 (or the per-
sonal computer) to adequate option per option
the parameters of LCS/2 Computer to the speci-
fication of the vehicles (see par. 7.2).
5) Check that the set values on LCS/2 Computer
are exactly correspondent to the characteris-
tics of the vehicles. If not, reset the memory of
LCS/2 and check that it memorise the stan-
dard values pointed out in bold type on the para-
graph 7.2; after, set another time the param-
eters of LCS/2 Computer and repeat the verify.
6) Start the car with the Switch / Gauge LCS/2 in
petrol position and wait a few minutes for the
lambda sensor to heat up.
7) Enter in the ‘DISPLAY’ page of the Program-
ming Tester V05 (or personal computer).
8) With the car stopped, switch to gas and per-
form a series of gradual accelerations and
decelerations at intervals of a few seconds; this
way, the LCS/2 computer will learn TPS mini-
mum position.
9) At this point the flow of gas at medium and
high speed must be regulated: bring the en-
gine to approx. 3,500 rpm (
][]], ]][]
) until
the default value has been learnt (the
DEF
value
on the Programmer Tester display will change).
The lambda probe learning range indicator, on
the data display page, will begin to swing indi-
cating correct operation of the system at full
speed.
10) Gradually drop the engine speed to minimum.
By displaying the page relating to the low-speed
actuator, make sure the engine is running at
slow speed (
m [] M
) and leave in this condi-
tion for 2 min. After 2 min, the lambda probe
learning range indicator will start to swing (the
DEF
value on the Programmer Tester display
will change), thus indicating that optimum car-
buration at slow speed has been achieved. The
slow speed default is automatically changed
by the LCS/2 computer after one minute’s op-
eration at slow speed.
11) Make sure all the speeds correctly oscillate the
LEDs of the lambda scale indicating carbura-
tion.
12) After a few seconds, the lambda signal will be-
gin shifting, indicating that the carburation has
been learned.
13) Using the exhaust analyser, make sure the
lambda value is around 1,000 and that the CO,
HC and CO
2
values are those shown in the in-
structions of the
LANDI RENZO reducer instal-
lation and adjustment tables.
14) After acquiring default of the slow-speed ac-
tuator (att-min) and of the medium and high-
speed actuator (att-Max), perform a road test.
The data, descriptions and illustrations are merely
approximate and LANDI RENZO S.p.A. reserves

The reducer shown in the cover picture is supplied
separately from the LCS/2.
