CA05 Series Troubleshooting Chart
Problem Solution
Spoons bending sideways.
Make wide turns. Raise the Core Aerator so the spoons are not engaged in the ground
before attempting to turn.
Bending frame and or spoons
Do not operate the Core Aerator on concrete, asphalt, or blacktop. Do not run over solid
objects such as tree stumps, rocks, curbs, etc.
Spoons won’t go into ground
Make sure wheels have been raised to lower spoons to ground.
Extra weight may need to be added to the frame (Refer to instructions for the
“Weight
Tray”
on page 13). Do not allow Riders for extra weight!
There may not be enough moisture in the ground. Wait for rain or irrigate the area.
The spoons may be clogged due to improper cleaning from the previous use. Refer to
“Clean Spoons”
on page 16.
