End Plate Assembly
Refer to Figure 2-2:
End plates can be attached to both ends of the blade to
help eliminating spillage when moving snow or other
loose material.
Kit Bundle
301-355A END PLATES
1. Attach right-hand end plate (#2) to moldboard (#1) as
shown with three 1/2"-13 x 6 1/8" GR5 hex flange
screws (#5). Secure with hex flange locknuts (#6).
Draw locknuts up snug. Do not tighten.
2. Attach side plate support strap (#3) with two
1/2"-13 x 1 1/2" GR5 cap screws (#4) and hex
nuts (#7A & #7B). Draw nuts up snug. Do not tighten.
3. First tighten hex nut (#7A) to the correct torque and
then hex nuts (#6). Tighten hex nut (#7B) last.
4. Repeat steps 1 to 3 for the left-hand end plate.
Skid Shoe Assembly
Refer to Figure 2-3:
The skid shoes are attached to both ends of the blade to
help keep the blade from damaging the surface it is
blading over such as a road surface during snow
removal.

301-437A SKID SHOE ASSEMBLY
Without End Plates
1. Attach skid shoe mount (#2) to the right side of
moldboard (#1) with four 1/2"-13 x 1 1/2" GR5 hex
flange serrated screws (#4A & #4B) and hex flange
locknuts (#6). Tighten locknuts to the correct torque.
2. Insert skid shoe (#3) in skid shoe mount (#2) and
secure with hitch pin (#7) and hairpin cotter (#8).
3. Repeat steps 1 & 2 on the left side of the moldboard.
With End Plates
1. Attach skid shoe mount (#2) to the right side of
moldboard (#1) with one 1/2"-13 x 1 1/2" GR5 hex
flange serrated screw (#4A) and three
1/2"-13 x 6 1/8" GR5 hex flange screw (#5). Secure
bolts with four hex flange locknuts (#6). Tighten
locknuts to the correct torque.
2. Insert skid shoe (#3) in skid shoe mount (#2) and
secure with hitch pin (#7) and hairpin cotter (#8).
3. Repeat steps 1 & 2 on the left side of the moldboard.
NOTE: Some deflection may occur in moldboard
while tightening end plate hardware.
