Tractor Requirements

Tractor horsepower should be within the range noted 
below. Tractors outside the horsepower range must not 
be used.

Maximum Horsepower . . . . . . . . . . .  120 horsepower
Hitch Type  . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .3 - Point Cat. 1 and 11

To avoid serious injury or death:  
Lightweight tractors with rear attached implements may need 

weights added to the front to maintain steering control. 

Consult your tractor Operator’s Manual to determine proper 

weight requirements and maximum weight limitations.

Torque Requirements

Unless specified, refer to 

“Torque Values Chart”

 on 

page 18 to determine correct torque values. See 

“Additional Torque Values”

 at bottom of the chart for 

exceptions to standard torque values.

Refer to Figure 1-2:

1.

With Box Scraper setting on the ground, position 
hydraulic cylinder (#6) with hydraulic fittings facing 
forward and cylinder base up as shown. 

2. Attach cylinder base to the upper lug with clevis

pin (#5) and cotter pin (#3).

3. Attach cylinder rod clevis between the two lower 

lugs (#1) with clevis pin (#4), flat washer (#2), and 
cotter pin (#3). Bend one leg of cotter pin to keep it 
from falling out.

4. Attach hydraulic couplers (supplied by customer) to 

hydraulic hoses.
