Linear Actuator

A 12 volt DC Linear Actuator may be purchased to raise
and lower the disc harrow at the touch of a switch. It
makes turning around quick and easy as it takes less
space to turn around when the discs are out of the
ground. Included with it is a wiring harness and toggle
switch. It is easy to install and mounts to the same holes
as the Ratchet Jack. For more information, see

“Linear

Actuator”

on page 9.

Spin Spreader and Rear Packer

A Spin Spreader and Rear Packer may be purchased to
distribute seed, fertilizer, chemicals, and other products
over the ground. Included with it is a Rear Packer used to
press product into the soil. Spreading widths may be
controlled to approximately 48" or may be allowed to
spread the full spin slinging pattern of about 20 to 25 feet.
This allows the user to distribute product only behind the
disc harrow or to cover a broad area when controlled
distribution width is not required. The unit is electrically
operated and plugs into a 12 volt receptacle. Included
with the wiring harness is a controller to turn the unit on
and off and to open the gate in increments for dispersing
product at varying amounts. For more information, see

“Rear Packer”

on page 9,

“Spin Spreader”

 and

“Calibrating the Spin Controller”

Extension Tube

(For Attaching to a 2" Receiver Hitch)

An extension tube and wire pin snap lock may be
purchased for the purpose of attaching the spin spreader
to any vehicle equipped with a 2" receiver hitch and
12 volt accessory receptacle. Adding the extension tube
provides an alternate method to spread seeds,

Prilled

fertilizer, sand, or salt without hooking-up to the Plot
Ranger.
