Using the gearshift in
AUTOMATIC and MANUAL mode
When the vehicle is switched
on it goes by default into
AUTOMATIC STRADA mode
With the gearshift in AUTOMATIC mode, it is
possible to change to MANUAL mode and vice
versa by pressing the
1
button on the centre
console.
Gearshifting
Pull paddle

to upshift and pull paddle

to downshift; pull both paddles to place the
vehicle in neutral.
Selecting reverse
With the vehicle stationary, depress the brake pedal
and at the same time pull the lever

on the
centre console.
Electromechanical parking brake light
Activating the electromechanical parking brake.
With the vehicle stationary, pull the

lever on the centre
console.
Automatic deactivation of the
electromechanical parking brake
To release the electromechanical parking brake, press the
brake or accelerator pedal and pull the

lever on the centre
console at the same time.
With seat belt fastened, the parking brake is deactivated
automatically as soon as the vehicle starts to move.
Engaging Parking Mode (P)
With the vehicle stationary, press the

button on the centre console.
Engaging Parking Mode (P) locks the wheels mechanically.
Disengaging Parking Mode (P):

Switch the instrument cluster on
•
Press the brake pedal
•
Start the engine and engage a driving gear or neutral (N)
If the vehicle is left in neutral (N), Parking Mode (P) will be automatically
engaged after 20 minutes.
In order to tow the vehicle, the parking lock must be
deactivated using the tool provided
