Calculation
- Without connection of the control pressure of
the combustion chamber pF:
pG = V × pL + N
- With connection of the control pressure of the
combustion chamber pF:
(pG – pF) = V × (pL – pF) + N
Control of the regulation capacity
- Take the burner to maximum flow rate.
- Measure the inlet and outlet gas pressure.
- Slowly close the ball valve upstream from the
valVario regulator until the inlet gas pressure is
made to drop by 2 mbar.
- The outlet pressure of the gas pG can fall by a
maximum of 10 %. If this is not the case, check
the setting and correct it. The system cannot be
managed if the regulation is insufficient. Explo-
sion hazard! - Re-open the ball valve

Setting the gas rate
- The solenoid valve is set, the factory, the max.
- For coarse adjustment of the flow rate using the indicator on the hood.
- The hood can be rotated without changing the current flow.
- Even too turning the adjusting screw, the sealing of the VAS remains unchanged.
