Brine line connection
The brine line from the tank connects to the valve. Make the connections and hand-tighten.
Ensure that the brine line is secure and free from air leaks. Even a small leak may cause the
brine line to drain out, and the softener will not draw brine from the tank. This may also introduce
air into the valve, causing problems with the valve operation.
Most installations use a tank check valve.
Chlorinator issued with ECO GREEN systems
The chlorinator is able to carry out automatic sterilisation of the resin during regeneration. To
perform this function, the valve must be equipped with a controller able to manage the range of
chlorinators. The controller supplies power to the electrolytic cell during the regeneration cycle
to produce an appropriate quantity of chlorine by electrolysis of the brine, which is necessary
for the sterilisation of the resins.
