Instructions and guarantee

• “

” distance travelled in km

•  After about 5 seconds the display turns off.

The next time the button is pressed, the OLED display shows the last data viewed. Example: the last data

viewed was for calories burned so when the display button is pressed it will show the updated data for

calories burned.

Attention! The activity sensor memorizes the data for seven days but the display shows the data detected

during the day. The data for the week can be viewed on your smartphone (see paragraph “Operation with

App”).

a. “Sleep monitoring” function

The activity sensor can be worn at night while resting. In fact, the device can monitor how many hours you slept

and your movements while sleeping to help you understand the quality of your nightly rest.

To activate this function, just hold down the activity sensor button for about 3 seconds.

The device will vibrate slightly and the display will show a small moon in the upper right. “

”.

To disable the “sleep monitoring” function, as soon as you wake up in the morning hold down the activity sensor

key for about 3 seconds. The device will vibrate slightly and the moon icon will disappear. You can now remove the

activity sensor and put it back on before walking and/or running.

The data for the night can be viewed on your smartphone (see paragraph “Operation with App”).

With

Bluetooth

®

4.0 you can send the data from the activity sensor to your smartphone to better analyse the

results of your walk and/or run. During the following operations, we recommend keeping the smartphone near the

pedometer to keep the

Bluetooth

®

 connection active.

1) Activate

Bluetooth

®

 in the smartphone settings.

2)  Install the free app “LAICA” in your smartphone.

3)  Start the app and follow the instructions to create a new user, entering your personal data.

4)  To connect the activity sensor to your smartphone, click on the icon in the upper left on your phone ( )

and select “Device”. Now click on “Add device” and hold down the pedometer key at the same time until the

display shows “

””

”. The device will vibrate slightly.

If the connection was successful, the display will show Success!. When the smartphone recognizes the

pedometer, select its image on your phone.

5)  At this point you can view and save the data on your smartphone. The activity sensor automatically sends

new data every 10 minutes or when a variation of over 100 steps is detected.

Attention! Always make sure the Bluetooth

®

connection is active on your smartphone.

Attention! The activity sensor memorizes the data for seven days. If the data are not sent to your smartphone

within 7 days, they are automatically deleted from the device.

For more information on the LAICA app, visit the website www.laica.com.

TROUBLESHOOTING

•  If the display shows “Fail!” it means that your smartphone did not recognize the activity sensor. In this case

check:

• that

Bluetooth

®

 is active on the phone

•  that the two devices are between 1 and 10 metres apart

•  that your smartphone uses a

Bluetooth

®

 4.0 connection

•  If the activity sensor shows abnormal results such as a big difference in steps or kilometres travelled:

•  You have worn your activity sensor during normal daily activities besides walking and/or running for

exercise or sleep monitoring. Remove the device after walking and/or running for exercise and sleep

monitoring.

•  During your walk and/or run your bodily movements or arm movements were different than those that

naturally occur during walking and/or running.

•  While walking you were dragging your feet so the device could not detect your movement. Use the

device when walking and/or running for exercise.

•  You walked less than 10 steps. The device does not show variations of less than 10 steps because it is

checking if these small differences are related to arm movements or steps.

As soon as the pedometer understands that you are walking it shows the correct variation of the number

of steps travelled.

•  If the display shows no data when the key is pressed:
