It is recommended that you plug the UV Sterilizer/Clarifier transformer to the same
Residual Current Device (RCD) or Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI) to which
you connect the pump so that if the pump triggers the RCD or CFCI to shut off the
power supply, the UV  Sterilizer/Clarifier will also cease to function.

Do not place it close to flammable materials.

Do not expose to rain.

To avoid overheating, do not cover the transformer.

Electrical connection must be in accordance with data on the rating label.

• The transformer should be mounted at least 3 metres (10 ft.)

away from the inside edge of the pond.

CAUTION:
• Only assemble cables into terminals with power OFF.

OVERLOAD FUSE (25W & 88W TRANSFORMERS

replacing the fuse and if the cause of the overload has been corrected, the unit will
resume normal operation.

CAUTION: DISCONNECT THE POWER SUPPLY BEFORE
REPLACING THE FUSE
Replace fuse with similar type of fuse only. Failure to do so will
compromise the safety of this product.
For 25W transformer, use a 125V or 250V / 2.5 Amp fuse (PT-1597)
For 88W transformer, use a 125V or 250V / 7.0 Amp fuse (PT1599)
Only one UV Sterilizer/Clarifier can be connected to the transformer.
DO NOT OVERLOAD THE TRANSFORMER.

1. CONNECTING CABLES TO THE TRANSFORMER

Insert one aluminum tube (a) in each of the holes at the back of
the transformer (e). Place a washer (b) on each screw (c). Place a
screw with washer attached in each of the cable terminals (d) of
the pond lights. Place the screws with cable terminal attached in
the aluminum tubes and screw them in the transformer hole (e).
(See Fig. 1)

2. MOUNTING THE TRANSFORMER

When planning where to install the transformer, make sure that
the cable is long enough to stretch from the socket, into which
