Fitting the sanding belt
1.
Fit the handle to the belt tensioning
lever. The handle is a push fit.
2.
Move the belt tension lever from tight to
loose.
3.
Slide the sanding belt over the two
rollers.
4.
Release the belt tension lever to the
tight position.
Note:
Take care not to crease the
sanding belt and ensure that the sanding belt is even on both rollers prior to
releasing the belt tension lever.
Note:
Do not start the sander until you have read the sanding belt tracking
section.
Fitting the stop
The stop has a location dowel that fits into a hole on the top of the sanding head.
It is clamped into position with the clamp knob.

Fitting the vertical adjusting handle
1.
Slide the handle onto the shaft and line it up with the cross pin.
2.
Fit the washer onto the shaft.
3.
Clamp in position with the knob.
