MAINTENANCE
WARNING:
Never put the body of the unit or the
plug into water and never put them
in a dishwasher.
Never use aggressive or abrasive
fabrics or products on the plastic parts
in order to preserve the plastic and
its shine.

Body of the unit: clean it with a moist sponge
Dry thoroughly.
*
Kneading vat, kneading blade, door, cover,
extrusion chamber, extrusion spiral, measuring cups,
tools:
use the brush provided and soak these elements
in warm water with a little dishwashing liquid added.
Rinse and dry each element. Do not wash the elements
in a dishwasher.
*
Chrome-plated transmission pivot and the extrusion
disk maintaining end-piece:
these metallic parts need
only be rinsed with warm running water. You can use a little
dishwashing liquid if necessary. Rinse and dry.
*
Food stains and odors:
some ingredients, such as carrots
or bell peppers, can leave stains on the plastic while others,
such as garlic, can give the vat a persistent odor. To remove
persistent stains or odors, soak the vat for

minutes in

liters
of water with the juice of a half-lemon or a little white vinegar
added. Rinse and wash the vat normally.
STORAGE OF THE UNIT

Always thoroughly wash and dry all of the elements before
repositioning them.
*
Assemble all of the parts of your unit before storing it.
*
Put all of the accessories into the vat so that you don't misplace them.
*
Unplug the unit after use and store it with the lever locked.
*
Wind the cord around the unit.
*
Store the unit on a flat and easily accessible surface.
*
Never put anything on top of your unit.
