5.2.1.4.7. DivX(R) VOD
The LaCie silverscreen is a DivX® certified device and
supports the new DivX® Video-On-Demand feature,
which allows you to rent or buy DivX® VOD movies
that are downloaded from the DivX® Web site.
To utilize this feature:
1) Connect the LaCie silverscreen to your TV and enter
the
Settings
menu.
2) Use the
and
keys of the
Navigation Buttons
to scroll through the menu options and then press the
Play/Enter
button on the
DivX(R) VOD
setting until an
8-digit registration code is displayed. Write down this
code.
3) Disconnect the LaCie silverscreen from your TV and
connect it to your computer.
4) Go to the DivX® Web site – www.divx.com/vod.
From this site, you can register your LaCie silverscreen
DivX® certified device by entering the 8-digit
registration code.
5) Download your DivX® content directly to your
LaCie silverscreen, choosing either the rent or buy
option.
6) Connect the LaCie silverscreen to your TV again
and enjoy your DivX® content!
