5.2. Creating A Monitor Profile
STEP 5
CALIBRATION
Caution!
Do not modify your
monitor’s OSD settings, or you will
have to restart the entire calibration
process.
Caution!
During this process, ensure
that nothing disrupts the
measurement: the LaCie blue eye
vision colorimeter should remain
aligned on the measurement area at
all times and no other window
should appear on the monitor.
After completing Steps 1, 2, 3 and 4, the LaCie blue eye 2 program will finish calibration by creating a custom ICC profile
of your monitor based on the information provided to the program by displaying color patches (which are measured by
the LaCie blue eye vision colorimeter) and comparing them to the theoretical values to be displayed. Press the
Start
button
to begin the profiling process.
