Installation
To ensure the proper functioning, your cellar must be installed in a room where the ambient
temperature is between 16 and 38 °C. The required temperature and hygrometry can be disregarded if
the ambient temperature is too high.
Do not place your cellar near sources of heat or direct exposure to sunlight.
The air must circulate around the basement to remove the heat produced by the thermoelectric plate
on the back of your device. It is advisable to leave at least 5 cm of space on each side and on the top
and 10 cm at the back between the wall and the product. The cellar should never be built or installed
in a cabinet.
The cellar must be installed on a floor or furniture resistant to the weight of it, it must be level, if
necessary you can adjust the level with the adjustable foot.
Do not place heavy items on top of the cellar.
Once you have installed your appliance, adjust its feet so that it is tilting backwards slightly, this helps
the door to close correctly.
Turning on your cellars
When starting your cellar for the first time, leave it running for at least 4 hours, so that the inside of
the cellar and the drawers moisten properly. Once exceeded this time, the atmosphere of your cellar is
ideal to preserve your cigars.
Caution: the humidity may drop when you add a significant number of cigars. Indeed, it is necessary to
allow a little time to the new cigars to put to the temperature and the hygrometry of the cellar.
So gradually load your cellar, ideally, fill the 1/3 of its capacity, or about 50 cigars, to ensure that the
humidity does not drop sharply. Wait a few more hours, the time the new cigars moisten properly to
add them again.
