WASTE FROM ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT
The European Parliament’s 2012/19/EC Directive on waste from electrical and electronic equipment
(WEEE) requires that used household appliances are not disposed of in unsorted municipal landfills and
must be collected separately to optimise recovery and recycling of the materials they contain and thus
reduce their impact on human health and the environment.
Consumers should contact their local authorities or their dealer with regard to the procedure to be
followed for the collection of their old appliance.
Please comply with local regulations for disposal of the packaging material. The packaging can thus be
recycled.
This "crossed-out bin" logo found on all products means that the equipment
cannot be disposed of with other waste, that it is the object of a selective
collection with a view to recovery, reuse or recycling.
