WARNING

Never touch the circuit, test lead tips or the appliance under test during insulation
testing because high voltages exist.
CAUTION
●
Never turn the Rotary switch while the test button is depressed as this may
damage the instrument.
●
Always release the test button first after testing before removing the test leads
from the circuit. This is to ensure that charges stored in the circuit capacitance
have been totally discharged.
Note:
If the reading measured greater than 2000MΩ (200MΩ at 250V) the over range
reading ‘>’ will be displayed.
