4. Operating the machine
1) Using the hydraulic variable speed drive,
press forwards on the accelerator pedal to
travel forwards and press backwards to
travel backwards.
2) Push the reel raise/lower lever and the reel
rotation lever forwards to fully lower the
mower units and rotate the reels.
If the reel raise/lower lever is pulled
backwards, the mower units are raised
causing the reel rotation lever to move to
its neutral position, shutting off the reels.
3) When mowing an uneven surface, reduce
the mowing speed.
Only the mowing speed needs to be
reduced, the engine rotation can remain
the same.

: Never suddenly accelerate or bring the mower to a sudden stop. It
is dangerous and could result in damage to the hydraulics, causing
an oil leak.

When mower units #4 and #5 are stored in
their raised positions, apply the mower lock
lever. Also, if you wish to raise mower units
#4 and #5 a little and reduce their raising
and lowering times during operation, release
the mower lock and raise or lower the mower
units.

The seat adjustment lever is located below
the front of the saddle.
The saddle can be moved forwards or
backwards when the lever is pushed to the
left.
