Unload valve
•
The unload valves are attached to the frame
near the bottom of the seat and below the
rear of the frame.
These valves are used when the mower has
to be towed because it is experiencing
engine trouble, for example, and no longer
able to run under its own power. Opening
the two valves releases the oil pressure,
making it easier to tow.
•
To operate the unload valve located under
the seat, open the seat platform first.
Opening the unload valve
1) A hexagonal nut is attached to the unload
valve.
2) Loosening the hexagonal nut and then
loosening the needle valve in the center of
the nut opens the unload valve.

Reel rotation/stop changeover lever
Rotation
•
The reel motors attached to the mower units
have reel rotation/stop changeover levers.
These levers are used when you wish to
mow or lap and when you wish to switch
between triple mowing or quadruple mowing
using the mower lock lever (LM282 only.
See 3.15).
Only the levers for the mower units you wish
to mow with or lap should be moved to their
rotate position (
). The levers for all
other mower units should be set to their stop
position (
).

: Before operating the reel rotation/stop changeover levers, make
sure that the mower's reel rotation lever has been put in the stop
position.
