Bluetooth
Bluetooth
®
is a short-range
communications technology that allows
you to connect wirelessly to a number of
Bluetooth devices, such as headsets and
hands-free car kits, and Bluetooth-enabled
handhelds, computers, and wireless
phones. The Bluetooth communication
range is usually approximately 30 feet.
Turn Bluetooth On and Off
By default, your phone's Bluetooth feature
is turned off. Turning Bluetooth on enables
your phone's Bluetooth functions.

Make Your Phone

To make your phone discoverable, you

Bluetooth Menu
The Bluetooth menu allows you to set up
many of the characteristics of your phone's
Bluetooth feature.

class, and supported profiles.
Pair Bluetooth Devices
The Bluetooth pairing process allows you
to establish trusted connections between
your phone and another Bluetooth device.
When devices are paired, a passkey (PIN)
is shared between devices, allowing for
fast, secure connections while bypassing
the discovery and authentication process.

Select the device you wish to pair with.
3.
If prompted, accept the connection on
the receiving device, and enter the
same passcode on both your phone
and the other device, or confirm the
auto-generated passcode, and then
select
OK
.
