VPN Settings
On the Settings screen, touch VPN > Add
VPN to configure a virtual private network.
Mobile Network
Enable Data Roaming
1. From Wireless controls , touch Mobile
networks.
2. Touch the Data roaming check box to
connect to data services when roaming.
Set Data Roaming Guard
Data Roaming Guard prevents users from
accidentally establishing a data connection
when roaming.
1. From
Wireless controls , touch Mobile
networks > Data roaming guard .
2. On the options menu, touch one of the
following:
•
Default : Set data roaming guard to
default.
• Always ask : Select to display the data
roaming guard confirmation message
when starting data communication.
• Never ask : Select to start data
communication without displaying the
data roaming guard confirmation
message.
Set Network Mode
1. From Wireless controls , touch Mobile
networks > Network mode .
2. On the options menu, touch your preferred
network mode.
Set Network Guard
Net guard prevents users from accidentally
connecting to a network.

Wireless controls , touch Mobile
networks > Net guard .
2. On the options menu, touch one of the
following:
•
Default : Set net guard to default.
• Always ask : Select to display the net
guard confirmation message when
starting communication.
• Never ask : Select to start connection
without displaying the net guard
confirmation message.
