44 Use Email
Use Email
Email allows you to add external POP3 or
IMAP email accounts from web-based email
service providers such as Yahoo!™ Mail,
AOL, or Hotmail.
To access
Email , touch Home , open the
applications tab, touch Email .
Add Email Accounts
1. Touch Home , open the applications tab,
then touch Email .
2. Follow the on-screen instructions, touch
Next .
3. Touch the Email address box, then type
your email address.
4. Touch Next on the keyboard.
5. On the Password box, type your password.
6. Touch Done on the keyboard.
7. Touch Next to continue. The device
automatically retrieves the email settings.
8. Touch Done .
Create Another Email Account
1. On the Accounts list screen, touch Menu >
Add account .
2. Select the type of account: POP3 account
or IMAP account .
3. Touch the Email address box, then type
your email address.
4. Touch Next on the keyboard.
5. On the Password box, type your password.
6. Touch Done on the keyboard.
7. Touch Next to continue. The device
automatically retrieves the email settings.
8. Touch Done .
Compose and Send Emails
1. Touch Home , open the applications tab,
then touch Email .
2. On the email account inbox, touch Menu >
Compose .
3. On the To field, enter the recipient’s email
address. As you type, matching contacts
appear on screen. Touch the contact or
continue typing the email address.
• To add a carbon copy (Cc) or a blind
carbon copy (Bcc), touch Menu > Add
recipient .
Note: To send to multiple recipients, separate
the email addresses with a comma.
4. Enter the subject and complete your
message.
5. Touch Send .
