5.3 Agent-A
Using a KGW3101 Modbus Gateway and a PC in Agent-A mode, the port type is RS-232. The ethernet side
works as a Modbus TCP Slave. Connect S1 which works as a Modbus RTU/ASCII Master to PC by DB9
female cable.
A. Web Configuration
Power on KGW3101 and log in web server of the device, set the operation mode of device to Agent Mode in
“Overview” page.
Next click
“Operating Settings” in navigation bar to set S1 to RTU Master mode, and click “Save” to save the
change.
Then set the parameters of each serial port, click
“Save” to save the change.
Click
“Agent Settings” in navigation bar and select “Gateway Settings” to set the parameters of the device, and
click
“Save” to save the change.
