B. PC Configuration 

Connect PC and the gateway serial port (S1) by DB9 female cable to configure for PC. Run 

“Modbus Slave” 

software on PC. The 

“Modbus Slave” parameters must be configured as shown in the following figure.  

Connection: Serial Port 

Mode: RTU 

And then click 

“OK” into the application page.  

 

Now run 

“Modbus Poll” on PC and set the parameters as shown in the following figure. Configure PC which 

was connected to E1 to 

192.168.0.249

. And then click 

“OK” to enter the application page. 

 

Finally,  input  numbers in address  1 and address 2  respectively  in 

“Modbus Slave”, the corresponding datas
