Terminating RG-58 Cable

Remove the debris from the end of the cable to
expose the braid, dielectric, and center conductor.
Carefully trim back any stray strands of braid that
extend into the area of the exposed dielectric.

Place the center pin into the crimp tool in the chamber
labeled “.068”. Then insert the cable’s center
conductor fully into the center pin. Crimp the center
pin onto the center conductor.

Gently flare the braid.

Insert the end of the cable into the neck of the
connector until the center pin and dielectric are firmly
seated inside. The connector should snap into place.
