First furrow width
In general, the first furrow should be the same width as the other fur-
rows. Please be aware of the following:
•
When using wide tyres on the tractor, decrease the first furrow
width to ensure a good connection with the previous furrows.
•
On slopes, compensate for the plough’s downwards drift.
•
When using a furrow opener on the last body, make the first furrow
width 13 cm smaller than the width of the other furrows.
Hydraulic
Adjust the first furrow cylinder using the tractor’s hydraulic outlet.
Mechanical
Adjust the first furrow width using the turnbuckle.

! A narrower first furrow (A-x) is admissible when using wide tyres, to
ensure it is best adapted to the previous pass.
