About the Air Assist Chain System
The ON-3V
Air Assist Chain System
is designed to reduce the bearing load on the door as the lift -
ing assembly settles on a door. The system should maintain air pressure in the buffer air tank at all
times, so that if the machine is turned off overnight, the lifting chain does not experience excess
slack that may bind when air is returned to the machine.

Caution: Due to this system design, the air system should be
depressurized prior to servicing the
Air Assist Chain

or the
Vertical Lift Assembly
. Shutdown the
machine and follow the
Lockout Tagout Procedures
.
Failure to do so can result in damage to equipment and/
or serious injury to personnel.
